Originally made for a travelling exhibiton and as an addition to
the museums extensive historical collection this clock is
unusual
in that it features objects from the museums archives. These are
encapsulated in resin and as well as the beetle shown here include
such wierd and wonderful items as pre-historic arrow heads, roman
coins, wasps and a pickled Guppy!
The domes are lit and magnified as the hours pass describing the
passage of time through the ages until the last dome which features
a ticking watch at twelve o clock.
